offer this gas charged strut arrangement to hold the
engine lid of your MKI open. Spring the latch, lift the
lid about 4 inches and watch it motor all the way up
under its own power. Sits low enough to be out of the way
during routine maintenance operations and gives your car
a more finished, professional look.
Kit comes with the gas
strut, two brackets and all mounting hardware.

Gas strut - 50# lift,
gas charged strut. Heavier lift struts available upon
request, but you shouldn't need one unless you've
strapped something extra to your engine cover.
Mounting hardware:
.082" Zinc plated Steel with integral ball stud.
