ARP?s heat-treated 8740 chrome moly wheel studs are a much-needed replacement for any car engaged in oval track or drag racing competition. They have a tensile strength of 200,000 psi and are able to easily handle the tremendous acceleration shock loads (shear) and lateral forces (elongation) found in racing. The studs are sold in 5 packs and are cadmium plated for extra durability.

These studs are about an inch or a little more longer than the stock studs. DO NOT use these if you do not plan on having at least 5/16" wheel spacers installed with them, unless you like the look of open acorn lugnuts. I bought these so I could space out the fronts and make room to lower my coilovers the rest of the way on my 2. Looks great now. I wish the these studs were only 2.125" or 2.25" instead of 2.6".
