The outer bearing that the lower control arm on the MR2 Spyder attaches to is pressed into the wheel carrier/hub assembly and Toyota won't sell you a replacement unless you buy the entire carrier/hub assembly.
A replacement for the bearing is available from Toyota, in the form of a Camry All-Trac part. The problem is that the center hole in this bearing is for a 14mm bolt while the Spyder uses a 12mm bolt. We have countered this issue by having custom spacers machined that slip into the bearing and fit a 12mm bolt.
This bearing presses into the hub and refreshes your worn out lower control arm bearing. While it is not an MR2 specific part, it has been tested for fit and successfully used to replace the worn out stock bearing. It is significantly cheaper than buying a new hub carrier!
