Bought this along with the RSe lowering plate. Haven't installed the lowering plate yet, but I have installed the JonO short shift kit. It definitely shortened the throws in all gears! Very quick, easy installation...

The bracketing design is a very simple one. It offers minimal change in shift throw, but it is a noticeable difference. I've enjoyed it.

man this thing works great on my 89 sc,the throw is slightly decreased on my 4th gear but the 1235 dramaticaly short for the price of 25$ will put other short shifter out of bussiness,so dont hesitate this is the real deal,thangks jon

When you open the package you'll probably think "I paid how much for this?" But I can't argue that if you look at the results standpoint it works. I've felt some verrry short throws in miatas and the what not. This isn't that extreme but it doesn't advertise to be.

only 1st and 4th gear throws feel shorter. love the fact you can go right into first though. good price for a shorter shift.

got this for my 89 mr2 easy to install and felt great. but seems like alot of money for no more than you get but if it works as good as the expensive stuff its still worth the buy. also got the brass shift bushings at the same time another good buy since the old bushings were rotten.

Just bought this. It was very easy to install. First, Second, Third and Fourth felt shorter. My fifth and reverse felt the same. Nevertheless..it was only $25..can't beat that. Very fast shipping too
