The torque mounts (front and rear) take a beating on these cars and the central rubber is usually torn and falling out in a big ball by now. If you don't want to put polyurethane inserts in your mounts, this is a great way to restore some rigidity to your motor.
This is the single best mod I've done. The previous owner had installed poly engine mounts. Vibrations and noise at idle and even while driving were INSANE. I replaced the front mount with this OEM-style mount, and the difference was night and day. No more vibrations, smooth as silk. I highly recommend this to anyone who has and hates their poly mounts. Really simple install, too: just 4 bolts holding the mount to the body, and one holding the tranny/engine to the mount.
