Restore that interior with a brand new headlamp control knob.

This is a reproduction of the original 85/86 version of the headlamp knob.

Note: These are for LHD vehicles - the control knobs on RHD cars are opposite to those in LHD cars. Also, the metal insert in these reproductions has been a little 'tight' on some of our test vehicles. If you find it difficult to install, the insert is easy to remove with a small screwdriver or pick and can be replaced with the one from your worn out original knob.

A definite improvement over what the previous owner had done, trying to keep it attached. I had to wiggle, torque and fiddle with the original one to activate the headlights. Then the lever would end up 20-45* off from the index marks. As the folks here say, it is a very close tolerance fit, but in this case, it might have been due to someone using every cheap trick they could think of to keep from having to buy a new knob.
