ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to 'aircraft' quality. Each stud is precisely heat-treated to 200,000psi and centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible.

ARP studs are thread rolled after heat treat, which gives them about 1000% better fatigue strenth than studs threaded prior to heat treat. It costs a lot more to do it this way, but the results are worth the effort.

You won't find a better quality stud on the market from any other source.

What our customers say...

WARNING. When installed as directed, two of the studs & fasteners will protrude and prevent the stock oil pan from fitting. I discovered this the hard way. When I inquired about the fitment problem I was told people have supposedly written about this fitment issue (somewhere). I wasn't aware there was an issue and so I didn't look for solutions to problems I didn't know existed, before ordering these studs. So read up before ordering, so you aren't surprised as I was in the middle of the build!
