Issue 20 offers yet more inspirational and MR2 feature delights from cover to cover and speaking of cover our cover feature this issue is a build that has been a long time in the making but well worth the wait, and I had the chance to experience this beast for myself, the latest of Woodsport?s creations, a 5VZ-FE 3.4 V6 Turbo Powered Mk2, pushing almost 500 bhp with much more to come. This is certainly one MR2 to watch for 2010 and a credit to the planning by John Gaskell and the hard work building by Paul Woods.

We also dispel recent rumours about an MR2 comeback with official word from Toyota about Gazoo Racing?s recent unveiling of their Sports Hybrid Concept at the Tokyo Autosalon.

2nd of our featured MR2s belongs to US Darryl Houston, with his flawless and tastefully modified ?91 MR2 Turbo that has wanted for nothing.

We also feature another US owner?s MR2 Turbo, Ronny Monroe, with his black over white 360whp machine with looks to match.

For the Mk3 lovers out there from Australia we feature a stunning Mk3 Spyder kitted with an authentic Monocraft widebody GT300 kit and BBS split rims. With plans afoot to upgrade to forced induction this is one serious street machine.

Representing the 80?s iconic Mk1 we feature James Burnash?s inspiring 6 speed 20valve black top, a build project that tells a true tale of MR2 community spirit at its best.

Also from the AW11 stable we feature a formerly featured Mk1 owned by Dan Lowe, whose concourse and truly original Mk1 has just received official collectors status.

The MR2 Racing season is hotting up with a couple of new series for 2010, race fixture lists are included within our motorsport section, well worth taking a look at and going along to spectate, or better still get involved.

We?re about to get spannering on our 3 MR2 projects in preparation for this year?s shows, with full race cage fit and engine swap underway for our Mk1 track MR2, Blitz wheel refurb for the Mk2 Turbo, and a nice new ACT XTSS competition clutch for the MK3 Roadster Turbo, busy times ahead!

We hope you enjoy reading this issue as much as we?ve enjoyed putting it together, and there?s much more of the same planned for 2010!
